03ABC analysis and TCalc
ABC analysis is the mainstream method for logistics analysis.
Many people spend a lot of time and effort analyzing and compiling data using Excel.
The way to drastically reduce this amount of work is to not use Excel for
analysis and aggregation.
The operation procedure for Tera calculation software is
1. Prepare the Excel data for ABC analysis.
2. Launch Tera Calc.
3. TCalc imports the Excel data into Access.
4. Specify the items to be analyzed and the analysis conditions in the
TCalc screen.
5. TCalc uses SQL language with the Access database engine to perform high-speed
analysis and aggregation.
6. TCalc displays the analysis and aggregation results on the screen.
7. After confirming the analysis and aggregation results, the operator outputs the ABC analysis results as Excel data.
Even with tens of thousands of rows of data, ABC analysis results can be obtained within 10 seconds of launching Tera Calc.
TCalc uses both ABC analysis and EIQ analysis, and the calculation method
and procedures are made public in the software.
